Our philosophy is if a service can’t be provided to the highest level, it shouldn’t be offered in the first place. In the same way that we can make a nice meal, but don’t refer to ourselves as chefs.

That’s why we’re called Crosshairs. We have a ruthless focus on doing one thing better than anyone else.

Some background…

Hi, I’m Richard. Sometimes I get called Dr Dolittle because animals like me (that’s a lemur using me as a climbing frame). 

As that kid who couldn’t ever put his pencil down, it was inevitable that my career would centre around writing. In my 10+ years as a pro, I’ve been hired to ghostwrite books, had articles published in national and international media, and written for everyone from philanthropists and entrepreneurs to multinational companies.

I am also a qualified and experienced marketer, with experience working as PR manager for an industry-leading UK company. This marketing background provides the foundation for my consulting service. I also love helping business owners separate themselves from competitors and set prices based on value instead of being limited by what competitors are charging.

I started Crosshairs Marketing in 2020 to give businesses high-quality, professional content without the overheads of building an internal team.

What does Crosshairs mean?

‘Crosshairs’ refers to a sighting device, like a gun sight or microscope, for aiming and positioning. Why is it the name of this business? Because as a client, we focus on you, and our sights are set on delivering the best service. 

Who do you work with?

Our clients span a range of industries. Finance, engineering, therapy, health, cryptocurrency, e-commerce… the list goes on. We like establishing long-term relationships, which starts with trust. If we aren’t confident that we can write about your topic to the required standard, we’ll tell you upfront. But we don’t work with everyone, and you can find out more about that here.

Who are your writers?

Our writers are all professional, with years of experience under their belts. Each writer has to demonstrate a high-quality portfolio to join the Crosshairs team, because being a professional writer means the ability to adopt the tone of voice of each client, to move people with your words, and not just call yourself a writer because you started a blog.
